Henrik Vibskov

Henrik Vibskov has produced nineteen collections since he graduated from Central St. Martin’s in 2001, and he is currently the only Scandinavian designer on the official show schedule of the Paris Men’s Fashion Week, which he has been since January 2003.

This is from an older collection from Henrik Vibskov.
Think these print combinations are wonderful especially with the big dots from the egg head!

Ceramic from Jeanine Eek Keizer

Okay, it's not textile, but it's so beautiful!
Jeanine Eek Keizer collected all kind of tableware and re-glazed it in beautiful green and blue tones.
You can still see the old prints on the dishes.

Shauna Richardson's animals

Shauna Richardson’s background is in conceptual art.
The unique body of work she terms ‘Crochetdermy’ evolved out of the exploration of the theory that  ‘Anything can be art’. She uses crochet to sculpt realistic life-size animals – uncanny taxidermy-like forms.

How beautiful is this...

At the moment she is working on this amazing project.

The Lionheart Project will feature three giant hand crocheted lions in a custom-built, mobile, glass case to travel around the East Midlands. These powerful sculptures reflect the region in both symbol and materials. Richard the Lionheart’s three lions crest is created using locally sourced Peak District wool, celebrating UK rich textile heritage.

William Morris

Celebrating 150 years of Morris & Co. With beautiful classic designs taken out of their archive.

William Morris (1834–1896) was the single most influential designer of the nineteenth century.
Under his direction Morris & Co. grew into a flourishing and fashionable decorating firm renowned for its wallpapers and textiles.

I love the website, classic but really clear and all kind of explanations about the fabric.

 Artichoke

Artichoke is taken from a Morris & Co wallpaper designed by John Henry Dearle in 1898 and has been translated as a richly detailed weave.

 Larkspur

A classic Morris design dating from 1875, 'Larkspur' is a highly elabarate design showing winding vertical stems of fern leaves around small groups of flowers.

 Kelmscott

Kelmscott is a design by C.F. Voysey who was an architect and designer working at the time of Morris and shows the distinctive symmetrical and stylised forms typical of Arts & Crafts design of the period.
